Café Femenino, Fairtrade Organic(FTO)  

In 2004, 464 female coffee producers in Peru united to take a step toward empowerment. They decided to separate their coffee production from men to gain visibility and a voice inside their community. Serving as an important vehicle for social change, they developed a never-before-existing market (all female produced) coffee. The partnership worked to   empower poor and marginalized women coffee farmers. So began Cafe Feminino. 

The Café Femenino movement now includes thousands of women farmers from nine countries across the world. Coffee Culture Revival proudly carries 4 Cafe Feminino origins. It is an honor for us to join the chain as a woman roaster to bring you their exceptional coffee. 

Peru coffees are a natural low acid coffee. We recommend this coffee for those with GI's that are sensitive to coffee.  Round flavor and gentle acidity. This Peru is  smooth and sweet, fragrant, intricate yet rich.
